PLASA Gold for Brompton’s
TESSERA G1

Brompton Technology’s Tessera G1 receiver card has received top honours with a gold award at the PLASA Awards for Innovation. The awards are run in association with LSi magazine and recognise future-focused technologies that improve safety, efficiency and performance. 

Each year the judges have an option to award a single PLASA Gold Award in recognition of outstanding innovation. This year they chose to give that prestigious award to Brompton Technology for the Tessera G1. The judges noted that the G1 demonstrates a true future-focused innovation that will prove a game-changer for virtual production and the use of LED in TV and film. 

This is a notable award for the G1, but it also holds special significance for the company. Richard Mead, Brompton CEO, recalls, “The founders of Brompton have had a long association with PLASA, and we launched the Brompton Technology brand with our first ever tradeshow booth in 2012. So the PLASA show is very much our home event, and we are all delighted to receive this honour for the G1, which is going to be a platform for exciting innovation for years to come.”
